When the board of the Mártires de Barbados stadium marked, on Thursday night, the final 4-2, Granma mocked for the second consecutive year the criteria issued by a large number of "specialists" of Cuban baseball, leaving the favorite Matanzas, for repeated occasion, with the desire to advance towards the coveted title held by the Alazanes since the previous National Series.

The outstanding Holguin shortstop Yordan Manduley was selected as reinforcement player of Granma team for the postseason of the 57th National Baseball Series, which will begin in January 2018 with the games of Matanzas vs. Granma, and Las Tunas vs. Industriales.

The first inter-gym competition sponsored by the provincial bodybuilding and Fitnnes delegation was held in Holguin, as part of the activities of this association to promote bodybuilding activity in Cuba.
