The Calixto Garcia Canadian Solidarity Brigade arrived this November 28 in Holguín with the aim to develop a broad program of activities, which will extend to different points of this province and other areas of eastern Cuba.
“The imprint of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro is present in many places of Holguín”, asserts Miguel José Cano Blanco, who was first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in this eastern Cuban province for 13 years.
The need to work for the implementation of the Guidelines of the Economic and Social Policy of the Party and the Revolution related to the strengthening of accounting and the contract as a legal instrument, demanding the ethical performance of executives and workers, as well as reaching higher levels of Productivity and efficiency were the main alerts of the 14th National Verification of Internal Control in the province between September 19 and November 7.
The application of agroecology and soil protection techniques stands out among the actions implemented in the province of Holguín, as part of the programs of food sovereignty and strengthening of territorial capacities in the region.
