The 32nd edition of the International Book Fair, scheduled for March 20-24, began in the city of Holguín with an opening gala in front of the Alex Urquiola Provincial Library.
The Provincial Center of Plastic Arts in the city of Holguín welcomed the collective exhibition of the Yeti community project founded 24 years ago by the artist Agustín Villafaña in Havana, which now has a headquarters in this eastern Cuban city.
Metro Big Band, a North American group directed by Camp Kirkland, will honor Holguín maestro Frank Fernández on March 3rd with a concert at the José White Concert Hall in the Cuban province of Matanzas.
