The bibliographic and documentary exhibition Alicia Alonso in Our America was inaugurated this Thursday in the José Antonio Echeverría library of Casa de las Américas, to celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the Cuban prima ballerina assoluta’s birth.
The awards ceremony for the 43rd edition of the 26 de Julio National Literature Contest, convened by the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) to disseminate the work of prominent specialists, creators and researchers, took place on Tuesday at the mausoleum of Lucía Íñiguez Landín in the Plaza de la Revolución of Holguín.
