The administration of the polio vaccine to more than 21,000 children in the province of Holguín is an exponent of Cuba's efforts to maintain immunization in pediatric ages in the midst of the complex economic context that the country is experiencing.

A ceremony was held at the Russian Embassy in Cuba to deliver a humanitarian shipment to the Cuban government. The shipment, prepared by the government of St. Petersburg, consists of a batch of medicines destined for hospitals and clinics on the island.

The Octavio de la Concepción de la Pedraja Hospital in Holguín is carrying out the “An April for Pediatrics” campaign, an initiative aimed at highlighting the work of this medical specialty and strengthening its impact on the community.
