A parade of the technique, exercise of extinction in a deposit of fuels and the delivery of recognitions to those who have stood out more in the prevention, marked the inaugural day of the 52 Fire Protection Week (PCI) in this province of Holguín, whose activities will conclude the next day 20, coinciding with the closing of the Exercise ¨Meteoro-2018¨, which will have as center the Villa Blanca de Gibara.
The Art Museum of Gibara, about 30 kilometers from the city of Holguín, treasures a wide collection of decorative objects of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, which makes it a jewel of Cuban culture.
Located in the northeastern region of the Cuban archipelago, Holguín works for the implementation of digital television throughout its territory. Today the high definition signal reaches 85 percent of the province thanks to the operation of seven transmitters located in different parts of its geography.
With the traditional parade of the Fire Department's technique through the streets of this city of Holguín and an act of recognitions in the CUPET unit of Güirabito, on the 14th of the current month, the National Week of Fire Protection will begin in this northeastern Cuban province, preceded by various activities at municipal level.
