2019-2020 school year resumed in Holguín

Photo: ACNMore than 150 thousand students in all levels of education returned to the classrooms in the northeastern province of Holguín to resume the 2019-2020 school year interrupted last March due to the epidemiological situation imposed COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite the battle against this terrible pandemic, Holguín is one of the territories with a favorable situation in the control of the new coronavirus, which led to the resumption of classes on this date.
A thousand 317 educational institutions were enlisted with all the hygienic-sanitary conditions, which this Tuesday opened their doors to receive the students with the guarantee of essential resources in the culmination of this stage.
The restart of the school year has been marked by a new context in which the unavoidable compliance with a package of measures oriented by Public Health is imposed to prevent outbreaks of COVID-19.
Hand disinfection, mandatory use of the masks and new positions in the classroom are among the mandatory measures implemented.
On this first day, the students went directly to their classrooms after being searched at the door, another of the preventive measures, since personnel with respiratory symptoms are not admitted.
