Holguín doctor Jorge Luis Quiñones Aguilar is among the 52 Cuban health professionals who arrived in an Italian town in the province of Cremona (Lombardy), where they set up a field hospital close to that of that town.
The Second Degree Specialist in Comprehensive General Medicine (MGI) tells how they have organized to assist patients. "We have rotating shifts to assist positive cases to COVID-19. We are all well protected with the means provided for these cases and have the support of Italian staff.”
Quiñones explained that the action protocols are well defined, which not give margin of error; hence he expresses confidence to his family and friends that he will return well to the Homeland, as well as his colleagues.

Many Cubans in that country have expressed through social networks the pride of having compatriots there willing to help them in the midst of the critical situation that nation is experiencing, due to the new coronavirus and have corresponded with the donation of winter clothes and shoes, because they deduced that many would not know about the low temperatures there.
