May Day Parade in Holguin begins

Everything was ready so that at 7 o'clock and after listening to the touching words of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, underlining the concept of Revolution, people began to walk in tight boxes to show the giant of seven leagues, that here is a nation that is not intimidated by pressures or genocidal laws.
There will be 15 trade unions marching with more than 11 thousand workers affiliated to the Food and Fisheries union at the head of the parade that will be closed by those of Civil Defense, a numerous guild and that stands out for its initiatives and colorful outfits.
Before the workers' associations will be located the presidency integrated by leaders and workers of the Communist Party of Cuba in the province and members of the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution.
As a symbol of continuity, it will be followed by a block integrated by some 5 thousand young people. Several National Labor Heroes and veteran trade union leaders are already on the rostrum.
Unity, Commitment and Victory is the central motto of the celebration that will ratify the decision to consolidate the battle to make the economy sustainable and intensify the preparation for the defense of the Homeland.
There is joy among the people who sing, dance, raise flags and banners, who chant slogans because despite demands and unavoidable complaints, there are also reasons to celebrate this festivity happy for the proletarian Island, free, sovereign and indomitable.
