As a preamble to the start in Guardalavaca and Gibara of the Claro de Luna project, scheduled to begin on April 19 and 20, respectively, the tourist carnival will take place on Friday at the most distinctive beach in the province of Holguin.
The celebration includes a varied program of activities sponsored by the hotel and extra-hotel network of the Holguin tourist pole, supported by other organizations, such as Culture.
Eddy Santos Gonzalez, delegate of the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur) in Holguin, detailed the activities to be developed in the beach area and the boulevard, including a nautical festival, tourist entertainment, sale of groceries and crafts and the presentation of music bands.
This recreational program will remain until the beginning of Claro de Luna, which foresees the offer of special prices for the stay and day pass in the hotel Brisas Guardalavaca; while Gibara’s tourist package includes transport, explained Santos Gonzalez.
This project, with the co-sponsoring of the Delegation of Tourism and the Directorate of Culture, is intended to rescue, next year, the Luna Llena Music Festival, an event that took place over several years at Guardalavaca beach with the participation of Cuban pop music bands.
This Festival was born in the famous Holguin resort from the initiative of young artists of the territory, who with a high power of convocation crossed borders to promote in December of each year a friendly exchange between prominent pop cultivators.
