Holguín Delegation to Attend Int'l Event Pedagogía 2019

A delegation from the province of Holguín will attend the international event Pedagogía 2019, to be held from February 4 to 8 at the Havana Convention Center, under the slogan "For the unity of educators."
Isnalvis Ramirez Rill, Science and Technical Advisor in the Provincial Directorate of Education, explained that 46 professionals from all municipalities make up the delegation, including teachers, directors of different teaching levels and nine representatives of the University of the territory, who will have the opportunity to socialize experiences in the event aimed at promoting debate and scientific exchange, a way to join forces and establish cooperation agreements in the search for solutions to the educational problems existing in societies.
The papers revolve around more than 20 topics convened in this event, which will have 12 symposia related to educational inclusion; Early Childhood; access to equitable and quality primary education; education for adolescents, youth, and adults; Higher education; values; sustainable development; Information and communication technology and technical and professional education.
Among the most important works, said Isnalvis, are those aimed at the Improvement of the Teaching System, mainly the pedagogical conception for the formation of labor culture, of the University of Holguín (UHo) and the model of institutional project in the special education, in charge of a director of this teaching level.
The Holguín delegation will also be represented in the Forum of Trade Unions and Organizations of Teachers and Students and in the Prize for the Best Researcher Teacher of the country, with the proposal of Manuel Fernando Martínez Bruzón, of the municipality of Báguano, outstanding pedagogue in the scientific activity with important contributions to Education, who has won the award at provincial level.
In its 16th edition, Ena Elsa Velazquez Cobiella, Minister of Education in the Caribbean nation, said that the great event of Cuban educators is dedicated to assessing the implementation and fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda from the particularities of each socio-educational context, in order to ensure an inclusive, equitable and quality education and promote learning opportunities throughout life.
