Holguín University Grants Special Teaching Categories

The associate professor Gloria Anisia Fariñas León, respected celebrity of the Cuban and Latin American psychological theory, received the special teaching category Guest Professor, from Reynaldo Velázquez, rector of the University of Holguín.
The title became recognition to her meritorious collaboration with the University, in particular with the Department of Psychology.
The Doctor in Sciences has a relevant profesional career, as well as in the field of research, she is vice president of the LS Vygotsky chair of the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Havana, Prize of the Cuban Society of Psychology for the work of the life 2016, Social Sciences Award of the Academy of Sciences of Cuba 2006 and has a wide agenda of participation in congresses and the delivery of conferences in several countries, mainly in Latin America.
The aeard granting ceremony took place in the protocol hall of the Calixto García Iñiguez Revolution Square, where the Doctor of Science Carlos Córdova Martínez, considered an intellectual father of the University of Holguín, received the special teaching category Professor Emeritus.
