Expo-ANIR Soluciones Cuba 2026 opens in Holguín

More than 120 innovations aimed at production processes and material shortages were presented this Thursday following the inauguration of the Expo-ANIR Soluciones Cuba event, hosted by the ECOI 17 Construction Research and Design Enterprise (INGECO).
Workers from companies in the food, construction, and health sectors participated, while representatives of the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba reaffirmed their rejection of the economic blockade imposed on the country by the United States.
During the opening, Yisel Tamayo Yopis, technical director of ECOI 17, presented the achievements of the host company, highlighting progress made through the implementation of innovations and small improvements.
She explained that these actions made it possible to modernize the automotive and construction equipment fleet, optimize the industrial area, and meet key efficiency indicators for maintenance.
Tamayo also emphasized that the company’s success lies in a strategic planning process that prioritizes customer relations and strengthens its Science, Technology, and Innovation Management System.
The exhibition was also attended by Leodanis Ávila Góngora, member of the Organizing Committee of the 22nd CTC Congress, and brought together prominent companies such as CONAM, ACIMUT, GARBO, VÉRTICE, MÉDANO, DOMUS, UMBRALES, SEPRO, PREFABRICADO, and NUMA.
