Moa University Announces International Congress Cinarem 2026

The Dr. Antonio Núñez Jiménez University of Moa has announced the XII International Congress on Mineral Resource Utilization (Cinarem 2026), which will be held from April 7 to 10 in Varadero, coinciding with the institution's 50th anniversary.
The event will offer two participation options: in-person, through presentations, roundtables, and panels, and virtual, through live sessions and pre-recorded presentations of up to 10 minutes.
The main topics include sustainable development and the environment, professional training, renewable energy and energy efficiency, safety, and electromechanical regulations, among others, according to the program.
Cinarem 2026 will promote the exchange of ideas and the development of projects in this branch of industry among researchers, academics, professionals, and students, the document states.
Submissions must be original and should be sent through the official Cinarem platform (https://cinarem.ismm.edu.cu), where the necessary registration documents will be available. Accepted submissions will be published in the digital proceedings of the congress.
The University of Moa is an academic center in eastern Cuba specializing in geology, mining, and metallurgy, accredited in 2018 by the National Accreditation Board.
