Holguín leading company boosts automation in key economic sectors

The Integral Automatic Company (Cedai) in Holguín has established itself as a leader in automating key economic sectors, implementing programs that promote energy efficiency in priority areas such as society, health, and tourism.
The projects include the repair and modernization of machines and tools, as well as the development of automation services for industries, buildings, IT, and communications.
Lisbette Azalia Guzmán Matos, director of the Company, stated that specialized electricity is the most in-demand service, in which the company builds main distribution panels that balance electrical loads in various projects, a key component for stable power supply in new installations.
She highlighted the work carried out at photovoltaic parks, where the electrical team certifies cash registers and conducts electronic studies to identify and fix faults.
They also manage electrical maintenance in hospitals, the installation and monitoring of oxygen plants, and the control of the territory’s incinerator systems, demonstrating their impact on essential public services.
Cedai also carries out technological retrofitting in hotels adapting capacitor banks to reduce losses and optimize electrical consumption. To this end, they are surveying the necessary equipment and gradually adapting modern technology to the old cabinets at all Gaviota facilities in the province.
Cedai belongs to the GELECT Business Group, of the Ministry of Industry, and offers automation, electrical, network, consulting, technical assistance, and related process services, reaffirming its commitment to society and the modernization of the region.
