President of Cuban Parliament visits Holguín province

Esteban Lazo Hernández, president of Cuba's National Assembly of People's Power (Parliament), today checked progress in social self-consumption and energy development initiatives in the eastern province of Holguín.

According to the Parliament´s official account on X, Lazo Hernández toured several centers in the territory which are involved in the  implementation of self-sustainability strategies, observing experiences to strengthen local production and community welfare.

He also checked the construction works of Providencia Photovoltaic Solar Park, where he was interested in the fulfillment of the execution schedule that will allow synchronizing it to the SEN, and exchanged with the workers about the importance of this work, as well as the need to finish it in the shortest possible time, but with the quality required.

In his tour, Lazo Hernández was accompanied by Joel Queipo Ruíz, first secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba in Holguín; Manuel Hernández Aguilera, governor of the territory; and Homero Acosta Álvarez, secretary of the Cuban Parliament.
