Río de Oro among the best hotels in the Caribbean

Paradisus Río de Oro, in Holguín, was awarded as best All-Inclusive hotels in the Caribbean, according to records from the specialized website Tripsdvisor.
These are two facilities operated by the Spanish Meliá Hotels, while other facilities of this Iberian company also received recognition, according to a statement released in Havana.
The message from Meliá Cuba mentions in this case the Paradisus Río de Oro and Meliá Buenavista hotels, winners of the Travelers' Choice Best of The Best 2025 award.
This award is based on the numerous positive reviews left by Tripadvisor users, and is only awarded to one percent of all profiles listed on this platform.
This luxury adults-only ecoresort stands out for its exclusive Royal Service area with personalized attention and its natural setting on Esmeralda Beach, making it ideal for weddings, honeymoons, and wellness trips
Additionally, another Meliá hotel in Cuba, Meliá Buenavista, located in a Biosphere Reserve in Cayo Santa María, was also honored with the same award, catering to guests over 18 seeking privacy and intimacy.
In total, nine Meliá hotels in Cuba received Tripadvisor recognitions, consolidating the chain’s reputation in the Caribbean market and demonstrating its commitment to tourism excellence.
Paradisus Río de Oro has also been distinguished in other awards, such as the World Travel Awards, where it was named Cuba’s Leading Resort, noted for its five-star category, high-standard amenities, and popularity among international travelers, with a high rate of repeat guests.
