University of Holguín calls for the 12th International Scientific Conference

The University of Holguín has convened the 12th International Scientific Conference, scheduled to take place from April 23 to 25, 2025, in this eastern Cuban city.
The event will be held under the theme "University-Society towards Sustainable Development," focusing on strengthening the connection between the university and society to address current challenges through innovative solutions.
According to the call for the Conference, the presentation of papers will be organized into eight symposia, including workshops and specific activities for this edition.
The Organizing Committee also announced the opportunity of enrolling in courses taught by prestigious professors and researchers. Both in-person and virtual formats will be used to allow for broad participation.
This event aims to be a space for interdisciplinary and intersectoral dialogue, oriented towards managing solutions for complex social demands and contributing to sustainable development. Scientific proposals can be submitted until March 14
The previous edition featured over 800 presentations and participants from 29 countries, including Ecuador, Canada, Mexico, Angola, Spain, Colombia, the United States, China, Palestine, Slovenia, and the Ivory Coast.
