Holguín celebrates 66th anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution

The municipal event for the 66th anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution, which will be celebrated on January 1, took place this Wednesday in the popular council of El Purial in Holguín province.
The celebration was presided over by Joel Queipo Ruiz, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and its first secretary in the province; Manuel Francisco Hernández Aguilera, governor, among other authorities.
Continuity is essential for the revolutionary process and guaranteeing its political quarry is an indisputable priority, so the day was propitious for the PCC and the Union of Young Communists to add new members to their organizations.
Likewise, entities and workers were recognized for their results in 2024 and the commitment shown to the fulfillment of the assigned tasks; while the popular councils of Sao Arriba and El Purial were specially honored, due to the results achieved.
“The triumph of the Revolution meant the consolidation of victory, after years of hard struggle for independence. It was the tribute to the more than 20 thousand fallen Cubans who, with their blood, opened the way to the future of our people,” said Osmany Viñals García, first secretary of the PCC in the municipality of Holguín.
The event served as a tribute to the precursors of the Cuban Revolution and to those who, with their daily actions, contribute to keeping the essence of our social system alive.
