Preparatory seminar for next school year concluded in Holguín

To continue managing the human resources demanded by the Education sector is a priority for the upcoming school year, was among the issues addressed in the preparatory seminar that took place from May 20 to 23 in the northeastern province of Holguín.
In the meeting, the general director of basic education at the Ministry of Education, Marlen Triana Medero, said that this is a problem facing the country and Holguín is not exempt from the situation.
Triana Mederos pointed out as a second priority and strategic theme, the role of Education in all ideological political work for the treatment of decolonization and cultural colonization, the work with national symbols, the heroes of the Cuban revolutionary feat and the distinctiveness of the historical wealth in Holguín, which has the privilege of being the birthplace of Fidel and Raúl Castro Ruz.
The development of skills in the order of technology, digital and language skills in teachers to face the comprehensive training of children and adolescents in this contemporary world was another of the aspects addressed in this event, which also included issues related to the preventive educational work together with Public Health and the Prosecutor's Office on problems that still persist in the territory related to social work, teenage pregnancy and drugs.
The event served to recognize the municipalities of Báguanos, "Calixto García" and Mayarí for their comprehensive results in 2023.
