Vice President evaluates implementation of new government structure in Holguín

Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdés Mesa on Thursday evaluated the implementation of the new structure of the local bodies of People’s Power, in meeting with the local subordination authorities of Holguín.
With the aim to examine, evaluate and correct distortions in the implementation of the new structure of the Local Bodies of People’s Power, the meeting had the participation of Ernesto Santiesteban Velázquez, member of the Central Committee and first secretary of the Party in the province, and Manuel Hernández Aguilera, governor.
Valdés Mesa insisted on the need to complete the cadre’s staff of each department, but with the really necessary personnel and insisted on the resizing of the budgeted sector towards the promotion of the productive sector.
Economy and Planning, Public Health, Finance and Prices, Sports, Information and Communication Directorate, Transportation, Housing, Defense... make up those directorates.
