Cubanacán Hotel Group with new projects in Holguín

The Cubanacán Hotel Group, with 117 facilities in most of the Cuban provinces, is involved in the diversification of tourism, since in addition to sun and beach tourism it develops nature and city tourism in high standard facilities and quality in services.
During a tour of Holguín, Jorge Alberto García Domínguez, president of the Group, belonging to the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur), said that they are working to expand its progress in provinces like this one where they have 11 hotels with 1,798 rooms located in Guardalavaca, Holguín and Gibara.
In addition, they have a non-hotel network of six establishments in Villa Blanca, made up of restaurants, the Nautical Club, the Siglo XX Cultural Center and the Leisure Club.
The main sun and beach destination and the largest number of rooms of Cubanacán are located in Guardalavaca, with the Club Amigo Atlántico, Las Brisas and the Gran Muthu Almirante, which will be joined by new projects, based on future investments, he aded.
In this regard, he pointed out that the closest purpose is to build a villa adjacent to the “Brisas”, which will initially work as the royal floor of the facility, where it is planned the completion of a high-standard and modern hotel of about eight to 10 floors.
Of them 514 in the star product of Cubanacán in the province, the Gran Muthu Almirante, which since the beginning of its operations has achieved occupancy between 700 to 800 vacationers daily; While among the marketing strategies includes the incorporation of new foreign chains, specifically in the Club Amigo, to seek greater occupancy on this facility, a less standard product with a greater number of rooms in this destination.
