Eastern province celebrates 63rd anniversary of the FMC

The recognition of Holguín women in promoting the actions for the social and economic development of the province is the basis of the agenda for the celebrations for the 63rd anniversary of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) on February 23, organization also engaged in activities prior to its XI Congress.
According to Elizabeth Martínez Quintero, general secretary of the FMC in Holguín, meetings are held with workers and mothers who benefit from the opening of children's houses, with the aim to learn about its impact and improve their work; recognitions to entities such as the Ministry of the Interior for the work links with the FMC, and the declaration of XI Congress centers, among other activities.
The provincial event for the anniversary will be held on the 19th Iin the town of Los Pinos, Antilla, while from the 15th and 22nd activities will be carried out in the rest of the territories.
