Etecsa investment process advances in Holguín

The investment process, carried out by the Cuban Telecommunications Company (Etecsa) in Holguín, advances favorably, in correspondence with the established projection, it was informed in meeting of the entity.
Luis Arnolis Reyes Ramírez, territorial director, reported that this investment has led to more than 250 services installed in Antilla, including Nauta Hogar, and allowed certain facilities to be offered to customers from other municipalities in the province.
Likewise, work has been directed towards the optimization of intercentral connectivity, between Holguín - San Germán, which is almost finished, and Holguín - Gibara, with significant progress.
“In the same way, the efforts are focused on the civil works carried out in three commercial offices: Frank País, Antilla and the one in the municipality of Holguín”, he said.
On the other hand, the company implements actions to optimize aspects related to the Internet connection, based on the extension of mobile networks and the work in the radio bases.
"Work is being done on 25 radio bases, while 8 of them completed recently will start operating once the required technological equipment arrives in the country," said Reyes Ramírez.
Despite the current difficulties, the investment process of ETECSA in Holguín shows a positive behavior, taking into account the quality parameters, and will be the prelude to the improvement of a group of services that the company offers to the population.
