Cuba’s top leadership continues check-up meetings in Holguín

The meetings of the country's top leadership with territorial authorities continue today in the province of Holguín, led by the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, to assess the actions carried out in order to achieve further socioeconomic development.
According to the Presidency’s Twitter account, this meeting is the thirteenth held in the country with the aim of evaluating compliance with the commitments made in January, to respond to the current situation in the country.
Accompanying the head of state are Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz and Roberto Morales Ojeda, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and the vice president, Salvador Valdés Mesa.
Recovering agricultural production in Cuba has been the main purpose of these check-up meetings, already held in the provinces of Artemisa, Sancti Spíritus, Villa Clara, Cienfuegos, Matanzas, Mayabeque, Pinar del Río, Havana, Camagüey, Guantánamo, Santiago de Cuba and Granma. (Source: ACN)
