Commercial fair Expo Holguín 2023 announced in this eastern city

The Expo Holguín 2023 Commercial Fair will be held April 4-7 at the Exhibition Center in this eastern city, with the participation of businessmen from Canada, Spain and Italy, as part of the strategy to promote exportable items.
In its 16th edition, the event has among its main objectives to show the projects of the portfolio of opportunities for foreign investment, promoting local development programs, said Leonardo Bruzon Reynaldo, head of the department of foreign trade and international collaboration in the provincial government, in a press conference.
He specified that the meeting will also include business presentations, conferences, panels and workshops to foster productive linkages between state entities, MSMEs and self-employed workers.
Considered as the third most important fair, after those held in Havana and Santiago de Cuba and under the slogan "For Cuba to grow", has among its novelties the incorporation of sponsors, which will expand the prospects of the event as a source of negotiations, he added.
Holguin, Cuba's third most densely populated province, has more than 350 companies, including state, private and non-agricultural cooperatives, and is developing a broad program to encourage foreign investment in food production, the use of renewable energy, the fight against climate change, as well as goods and services dedicated to expanding the offers to the population.
During the communication campaign previous to the meeting, the call was previously launched at the Havana International Fair and at Expo Caribe 2022, in Santiago de Cuba, while consolidating itself as an opportunity for export, exchange and development of each locality's own resources.
