This September 5, more than 150,000 students return to classrooms in the northeastern province of Holguín to continue the 2021-2022 school year.
Luis Felipe Batista Rodríguez, Provincial Director of Education, assured that the main resources are guaranteed to continue the school stage, which is expected to conclude on November 19.
According to Batista, prior to the return of the school year, more than 70 percent of the enrollments between 2 and 11 years of age had received the booster dose of the vaccine against COVID-19, Soberana Plus, which guarantees greater immunity from the learners.
He emphasized the strict compliance with hygienic-sanitary measures that allow maintaining school health and being able to satisfactorily conclude the remainder of the school period.
For this stage, they will continue to implement the different attention strategies for the teacher and for the twelfth grade with a view to taking the entrance exams for Higher Education.
