Holguín workers support the new Family Code

“Let's go to the polls next September 25 and say Yes to the Family Code. Let us fulfill an elementary duty as citizens who want the best for their country and their peers beyond any punctual difference and individual objection with some aspect of the norm”.
It is the call made by the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba (CTC) and its unions to its membership to support the Yes in the referendum to the Family Code, during a process that began on the 15th of this August and will run until September 10.
According to Idalmis Serrano Gómez, general secretary of the labor organization in the province of Holguín, the reading and support of the call will be carried out in all the work centers of the territory, as well as in structures of new actors of the economy.
Serrano pointed out that the labor movement in the eastern territory carried out a set of actions for the political assurance of suffrage, including the activation of the issue in social networks through the generation of content, message lines, hashtags and virtual postcards, among others.
"Let's vote Yes to the Code, because what makes us better families also makes us more productive and efficient as workers...", concludes the call, a step closer to September 25, when we will also give another Yes for Cuba.
