Ediciones La Luz honored at International Book Fair

Three books by the Ediciones La Luz, seal of the Hermanos Saíz Association in Holguín, on April 28 received the distinction “La puerta de papel” at the International Book Fair of Havana.
“Diario del buen recluso” (Diary of the good prisoner), by Sergio García Zamora; “Ser periodista, ser Quijote” (Being a journalist, being Quixote), by Reinaldo Cedeño and “El planeta rojo” (The red planet), by Eliécer Almaguer, were the winning books in the genres of narrative, essay and poetry, respectively.
The volumes are ascribed to the Mehrlicht Collection of the publisher that will reach its 25th anniversary on May 7.
The publishing house recognized on its Facebook profile the editors Luis Yuseff, Liset Prego and Adalberto Santos, and photographers Lisandra López, Norlis Guerrero and Juan Pablo Carreras, authors of the cover images; as well as the proofreader Mariela Varona and designer Robert Ráez.
