The branches of the Credit and Services Banks (Bandec) will offer a new modality starting this Thursday, November 4, to natural persons who will have the possibility of obtaining a loan to make purchases of household goods and effects or personal items.
"Those interested can request the service in the commercial departments of banks, always through magnetic cards associated with Bandec entities," according to Silvia Hernández Baganez, head of the Personal Banking department in the Provincial Directorate of this entity.
Like other personal loans, the principle of risk analysis carried out will be granted after assessing the applicant's payment capacity, the useful life of the asset to be financed, as well as the client's guarantees; the joint guarantors and the accounts of the different savings modalities are maintained.
The credit will be granted in Cuban pesos, with a minimum amount of five thousand pesos and the purchase must be greater than one thousand, an activity that can be carried out in the retail market, self-employed areas, artisans, Cultural Assets Fund and Mincin facilities, among others.
Hernández Baganez added that the services offered are credits for the purchase of household goods, such as clothing, footwear or lingerie, and not durable goods such as cars or homes.
All credits have an interest rate, which in these cases is in a range between three and 10.50 percent, according to the repayment term that will be from three months to 10 years, plus the applicant's risk.
