Holguín tourist destination is open to the world

The tourist destination of Holguín, in eastern Cuba, has continued to welcome international visitors since early November, after almost nine months of a forced break in most facilities as a consequence of Covid-19.
Airlines, such as Air Transat, Bahamas Air, Viva Aerobús and Sunrise Airways, have kept landing in the runway of Holguin's Frank País airport; other companies will soon join the list in the current season.
The industry in Holguin has reactivates most services, for which various initiatives are being carried out with the aim of showing a renewed, sustainable and interactive destination in the province's different economic areas under strict health controls to keep the resorts free of Covid-19.
For the reopening, hotels in the province obtained the More Hygienic and Safe Tourism certificate, granted by a commission made up of experts from the Public Health and Tourism ministries, after a thorough evaluation of each facility.
Holguin is one of Cuba's most integral destinations, including experiences of sun and beach, nature, history, culture and health tourism operations, plus other modalities of great acceptance among travelers from abroad and from all over the country.
