Holguín: Ibero-American Exhibit of Plastic Arts in virtual gallery

The Ibero-American Exhibition of Plastic Arts will open virtually, as part of the program of activities of the 26th Edition of the Ibero-American Culture Festival to take place from October 24 to 30 in Holguín.
In order to promote artistic creation in Cuba and other countries, the event is sponsored by the Provincial Center of Plastic Arts and the Casa de Iberoamérica in the eastern province.
According to the bases of the call, Cuban and foreign visual artists may participate with free-themed works conceived in all disciplines and trends of the plastic arts.
The images of the works must be in jpg format, at 300 megapixels and at least 10 Mb; mp4 videos, no less than 800 x 420 megapixels. The volumetric pieces will be sent as many views as necessary to reflect them properly.
Each work must be accompanied by the technical sheet with the author's data: name and surname, country of origin, title, date of completion, technique and dimensions. In the case of installation, performance or video-creation works, it will also include a synopsis or theoretical foundation.

A team of specialists from the Provincial Center of Plastic Arts will select the works that will make up the exhibition and will announce the list of artists on September 21.
The public will be able to appreciate it from October 24 on a website address that will be announced shortly.
The event will grant a single prize, consisting of a personal exhibition during the next Ibero-American Culture Festival, which will be attended by the winner as a guest.
