Culture as a factor of resilience will be the theme of the 26th edition of the Ibero-American Culture Festival to take place in the city of Holguín from October 24 to 28 through various digital platforms.
According to Eduardo Rafael Ávila Rumayor, president of the organizing committee, the festival will have as main stage the social networks, with the aim to support the artists who join the event every year.
For her part, Bárbara Martínez Pupo, organizer of the Ibero-American Congress of Thought, said that this year’s event will include special presentations, conferences and online panels and the delivery of the José Manuel Guarch Research Prize.
Forums on topics such as artistic processes, sociodemographic studies and gender focus will be also developed; in addition, according to the way these exchanges flow, other private meetings will be created in correspondence with the interests of the participants.
The Festival's program will also include the commemoration of the 27th anniversary of the founding of the Casa de Iberoamérica, which has welcomed artists and researchers from countries such as Spain, Chile, Peru, Mexico and Argentina every year since 1993, united by love of culture and traditions.
