The Hall C-4 of the San Carlos de la Cabaña Fortress is the main place of the Territorial Publishing Houses (SET), where readers can receive autographed books from the Holguín publishers La Luz, La Mezquita and Cuadernos Papiro.

Holguin stands out among Cuban publishing houses for the successful selection of catalogs of books each year, the perseverance and unity among its imprint labels in complex times for the printing of volumes and promotion of designs.

The publishing house La Mezquita, belonging to the Union of Historians of Cuba and only one of its kind on the island, will celebrate its tenth anniversary on June 29 with 14 books published, while Cuadernos Papiro works in the production of books with a high artistic level in their handcrafted manufacturing.

With 21 years of creation, Ediciones La Luz stands as the most prominent seal of the Hermanos Saíz Association, thanks to the work developed by the working team led by renowned writer Luis Yussef. The publisher promotes the work of young writers of Cuban literature, while compiling the complete works of great writers such as Gastón Baquero and the reprint of important texts such as "El libro de los abrazos ", by Eduardo Galeano.

On the other hand the oldest publishing house Ediciones Holguín, has been promoting for 31 years the publication of the City Prize in literature. It holds several awards such as the Critics' Award (2006).

The Book Fair, taking place until February 11, is dedicated to Dr. Eusebio Leal Spengler and the People's Republic of China as the guest of honor.
