Photo contest "Environmental Connection" convened in Holguín

The project Cámara Chica Voces del Audiovisual de Gibara, in this coastal city of Holguín, has launched the call for the "Environmental Connection" contest, aimed at rescuing the natural spaces of the town and its preservation.
Lázaro García Gómez, a member of the project, commented to the ACN that the contest is opened to children, adolescents and young people up to 21 years of age in the modalities of photography and audiovisuals.
In the case of audiovisuals, the works must have a length limit of two minutes; and they will mainly address the subject of the natural spaces of the town where they live, or the denunciation of the mistreatment of nature, caused by the action of man.
The works, he explained, together with the personal data of the author, will be received digitally through WhatsApp in "Environmental Connection", or by Messenger to CCh Voces del Audiovisual.

Created on April 19, 2010, at the Humberto Solás Non-Budget Film Festival, the project Voces del audiovisual, inserted in the National Federation of Cineclubes and the Cámara Chica network, is a space of artistic confluences and a meeting with the different techniques of this modality of creation to achieve an empowerment of children and adolescents for the future.
