Ediciones La Luz launches a new campaign to promote books and reading

The publishing house Ediciones La Luz, belonging to the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS) in Holguín, is launching a new campaign to promote books and reading in social networks and different media with the title " Leer nos acerca, leer sana."
 
The campaign aims to promote the habit of reading in times when social distancing is imposed, said exclusively to the ACN the poet Luis Yuseff, editor-in-chief of the publisher.

Designed by Robert Ráez, this campaign, which is the ninth launched by Ediciones La Luz under the name “Leer seduce”, is a call to bring literature and readers closer together from physical distance and networks, complying with the measures adopted to prevent contagion by Covid-19.

Yuseff said that reading has always been a pretext to cling to in times of contradictions, so this year it deserves to be received with the certainty that reading brings us closer.

In this sense, the promotion will be carried out mainly from social networks and other digital platforms using tags related to the reading of universal authors, young literature and the search for texts published by Ediciones La Luz.

The images of the campaign will circulate on physical media and also on the networks, such as posters, almanacs, stickers, wallpapers and postcards, as well as spots for radio and television.

Long before the pandemic, La Luz worked tirelessly from the Internet to achieve the promotion of literature, focused especially on new audiences, without neglecting assiduous followers of its creations based on print, which includes more than 200 titles, as well as existing spaces such as clubs, Yuseff added.

Ediciones La Luz is one of the most important publishing houses in the country, publishing in its catalog not only titles by young writers, but also the work of renowned Cuban and foreign authors.
