The 26th Ibero-American Culture Festival online that took place in Holguín from October 24 to 28 concluded here with the call for the next edition to be held in 2021 and a cultural show in Cayo Bariay.

This year's edition was dedicated to culture as a factor of resilience in times of pandemic, where online broadcasts prevailed through Producciones Ángulo Ancho, an audiovisual project made up of a group of talented professionals led by journalist and filmmaker Juan Gabriel Gordín.

“This Festival revealed to us a group of abilities that we were unaware of. Far from being a complicated experience, it became something very comfortable to do. We will always bet on face-to-face activities, but we now we have found new ways to do the Fiesta and they will remain at the Institution”, commented Eduardo Ávila Rumayor, president of the Organizing Committee of the Festival.

"Today we not only have a strong presence on Facebook, we opened the doors to networks such as Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and created the virtual gallery. It opened the thought to create more digital projects," he said.

The program of activities included concerts, workshops, forums, book presentations and the broadcast of the “Iberoamérica en casa” Magazine, aimed at recalling experiences of symbolic spaces of the Fiesta in previous editions.
