Cuban parliament to discuss crucial issues for the country

According to the official summons of the President of the Cuban Legislature, Esteban Lazo, to the Sixth Ordinary Session of this body, in its X Legislature, on that day will be presented the objectives and goals of the economy for the coming year, and the analysis and discussion of the State Budget Bill for 2026.

The Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment and the Provincial Government of the People’s Power in the central province of Ciego de Avila will also be accountable for their work, according to the text released yesterday.

Among other topics of interest, the report of the highest audit exercise will be presented to the Ministry of Justice; as well as the analysis and discussion of draft laws.

Prior to this, on December 15, 16 and 17, there will be meetings of the permanent working committees of the Cuban legislature, in which more than 90 items on the national agenda that have a direct impact on the population will be analyzed.

The notice, published on the website of the Cuban Parliament on November 26, will be circulated to members of the Cuban Parliament, central government agencies and other relevant bodies and authorities; and will be published in the Official Gazette of the Republic and other media for general knowledge, noted the text.
