Thus, in its most recent score on this island, 11 hotels of the Spanish chain Meliá Hotels International Cuba are registered with the Certificate of Excellence 2018.
The list includes Meliá Las Américas, Meliá Santiago de Cuba, Sol Cayo Coco, Meliá Habana, Paradisus Río de Oro, Meliá Las Antillas and Meliá Cayo Coco, in addition to the list of previous winners such as Meliá Cohíba, Meliá Varadero, Meliá Buenavista and Meliá Marina Varadero Apartaments.
This hotel company has been operating on the island for more than 25 years and both its directors and the Cuban authorities are satisfied with such joint ventures.
But during this same month, the travel website determined that the Cuban Varadero beach resort is among the best beaches in the world, in terms of the Travellers Choice 2018 awards.
This Cuban resort was third, preceded by Grace Bay of Turks and Caicos Islands and Baia Do Sancho in Brazil.
