Cuban President will participate in the Summit convened by Mexico

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel will participate in the Summit of Presidents of Latin America and the Caribbean, convened by Mexico to address inflation in the area, the Presidency confirmed.
According to the source, in this first meeting, to be held virtually, participants will agree on actions so as to urgently address high food prices and inflationary pressures.
The purpose of the meeting is to advance the definition of trade facilities, logistic and financial measures, including the transfer of technology and cooperation in capacity buildings, taking into consideration the reality of each country.
On March 2, the President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, responded affirmatively to his Mexican counterpart’s call for a meeting with him and the presidents of Brazil, Colombia and Argentina for the summit.
“At your service, dear @lopezobrador. We need to coordinate our efforts. We owe it to our peoples and our history. Our America can count on #Cuba”, Díaz-Canel wrote on his Twitter account.
