Cuban Prime Minister thanks the support of Gibara voters

Manuel Marrero Cruz, Prime Minister of Cuba, thanked today the people of the municipality of Gibara, in the province of Holguín, where he was one of the candidates for deputies, for the support and affection shown during the electoral process.
With a 75.40 percent (%) participation in this municipality, Cuba won and Gibara too, said the Prime Minister on his twitter account, and assured that he would represent that Holguín town with pride.
Marrero Cruz recognized the Cubans because despite the complex situation our country is experiencing, they trusted the Revolution and supported the national elections this Sunday with 75.92% participation.
We will continue forward, certain of victory, he assured.
During these elections, the 470 nominees were elected deputies to the National Assembly of People's Power with more than 50% of the valid votes cast by the voters.
On December 1, 2022, the Council of State released the call for the national elections, a process that concludes on April 19 with the constitution of Parliament, the election of its board of directors (president, vice-president and secretary), of the other members of the Council of State and the President and Vice President of the Republic.
