In a gathering charged with symbolism and emotion, the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, presided over a day of brotherhood this Friday at the Palace of Conventions in Havana with members of the *Nuestra América* Convoy.
A large delegation of the Cuba Cooperation France Association (CubaCoop) is traveling to the island on Thursday to promote collaboration projects in sectors such as food security, hydraulic resources, culture and sports.
The Cuban team that will participate on February 5 to 13 in the 2nd Baseball Series of the Americas was presented with its flag at Havana’s Latin American Stadium by the renowned former pitcher and coach Pedro Luis Lazo and received by team captain Alfredo Despaigne Rodríguez, symbolically escorted by outfielders Roelquis Gibert and Roel Santos.
