The first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and president of the Republic, Miguel Diaz-Canel, on Saturday insisted on the leadership of that organization, on the importance of strengthening political-ideological work and on discussing the people's concerns.

Experts raised the likelihood of the formation of a tropical depression to 80 percent, noting that the weather event will later become a storm as it advances northward through the Caribbean Sea, having high odds to hit Cuba.
