In order to maintain safe and sanitary conditions in each work place and Cuban workers to become aware of the need to comply with established safety standards, the northeastern province of Holguin will host from November 1 to 30, the National Day for Health and Safety at Work.

Cuban shooting star Leuris Pupo Requejo and cyclist Daimelyn Pérez Quesada were selected as athletes of the year in individual disciplines in the province of Holguín in the selection of the best of 2024, held last Tuesday in the meeting room of the Calixto García stadium.
