The Iberoarte International Craft Fair was opened to the public at the Expo Holguín fairgrounds on October 16. The event, which ran until november 1, featured the participation of nearly one hundred artisans, including guests from Perú and Mexico.

The municipality of Calixto García, located along the Central Highway in the province of Holguín, is an essentially agricultural area known for its social, economic and health development.
