Cuba´s Prime Minister Manuel Marrero on Tuesday affirmed that 2020 and the beginning of 2021 have been very difficult for the country due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, present global economic crisis, and the tightening of the economic, commercial and financial US blockade, through which Donald Trump passed over 240 sanctions.

A total of 9,899,478 people, 89.4 percent of Cuba's population, have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) reported on Friday.
