The International Conference on the Decade of People of African Descent, organized by Cuba, will be held from today until the 13th in the provinces of Havana and Matanzas, to showcase the island’s commitment and efforts in the fight against racism and discrimination based on skin color, ethnicity, nationality, or territorial origin.

An audiovisual material presented by the Television News program during its primetime broadcast on Thursday evening revealed compelling evidence about the operations of the "Cubaprimero" organization, directed from the United States by Armando Labrador Coro, who is identified as the main financier of acts of sabotage and terrorism on the island.
Cuba Soberana, a project promoted to send containers with donations from Belgium to the island, will cover sectors not only of health, but also sports and social support, its coordinator, Reinaldo Romero, said on Friday.
The university focused on the sustainable development of its environments, responsibilities and projections of the new scenarios will be the central theme of the X International Scientific Conference of the University of Holguín (UHo) that takes place virtually from April 26 to 30.
