Just hours before the end of 2024, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba, Manuel Marrero Cruz, returned to the municipality of Gibara, a territory that he represents in the National Assembly of People's Power, in his capacity as deputy, and with which he has maintained a close relationship throughout the year.

The Popular Festivities 2025 in Holguín will take place from August 14th to 17th in four main areas: the Mayor General Calixto García Stadium, Los Álamos Avenue, Camilo Cienfuegos Plaza, and the Pedro Díaz Coello community.
