Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel is visiting Thursday the Ernesto Guevara thermoelectric plant in the nearby city of Santa Cruz del Norte, with three units and a generation capacity of 295 megawatts (MW).
The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) will vote on Wednesday on the resolution that Cuba submitted against the blockade imposed by the United States.
"The high transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in Holguín may decrease, from achieving a reduction in the movement of people in the streets and only have the necessary transportation means traveling, so the cooperation of all is essential," said the Dr. Katia María Ochoa, director of Health in the eastern territory.
