The Ministry of Education (MINED) of Cuba faces deficit of teaching personnel with the implementation of a set of strategies, among them, the emerging training of professionals in the pedagogical branch.

The current water availability in the province of Holguín, the problems associated with its supply cycles and the actions carried out to improve the situation were topics discussed on Thursday in meeting of the Cuban Deputy Prime Minister, Inés María Chapman Waugh, with representatives of the Water Resources system of the territory.

Forty-one years ago, Cuba hosted the Sixth Summit of Non-Aligned Countries (Noal) and by then Cuban collaborators provided services in 28 countries of that Movement, a practice multiplied today in the face of Covid-19.
